Cultural visits

We love the idea of Jesolo as the starting point in discovering the cities of art in Veneto and the nearby Friuli Venezia Giulia Regions. They are our places, made of natural uniqueness, artistic memories and a special cultural history. Starting from Venice.

VENICE

Water, art, architecture and calli (alleys), campi (squares), and silences. A labyrinth to be crossed in amazement. A continuous splendour that bursts in precious places, such as Piazza San Marco, as well as in the most intimate and common glimpses. From Punta Sabbioni you can reach Venice and the Islands, Burano, Murano, Torcello, by motorboat.

Verona

The Roman city overlooking the Adige River.
Rich in art and UNESCO World Heritage site. From the Arena to the Basilica of San Zeno, passing through the alleys and Renaissance squares, to the romantic Juliet’s balcony from Shakespeare’s famous play and the Roman Theatre overlooking the river.
Only 30 km from Lake Garda.

Padua

The city of Sant’Antonio and university city, Padua has a glorious cultural and artistic past. Worth a visit is the famous Scrovegni Chapel, which contains the fresco cycle by Giotto, and Prato della Valle, one of the largest squares in Europe. For a break and a coffee go to Café Pedrocchi, one of the most famous cafés in the world, and located in the city centre.

Trieste

Trieste is a cultural and religious crossroads, bearing the marks of its Central European history. Make sure to visit the Castello Miramare, overlooking the Gulf of Trieste, built on the order of Maximilian I, and the Grotta Gigante on the Carso, the plateau located behind Trieste. But linger among its streets and take a break at one of its many historic cafés.

Treviso

A pleasant discovery. 15 km from the Piave river, Treviso develops around alleys, canals and barbicans that keep intact the charm of a city rich in history. Visit the Duomo, Piazza dei Signori, Piazza Sant’Andrea and Palazzo Ca’ dei Carraresi with its exhibitions of international fame.
